Not surprising from a terrorist sympathizer. Good thing you arent a mod for this site or Eery, Joedaddy, and myself would have been banned a while a gap.

I think it's important for you to understand that disagreeing with you isn't being against different viewpoints.

His point is that there were protections in place for differing viewpoints and the Reagan administration did away with them, and you are sort of "hoisted by your own petard" in this regard.

Don't think it will do any good unless he reformats the boot partition and reinstalls the operating system, otherwise, it's still just a TrumpOS.

With all of the support they get from Trump who would blame them.

This is hilarious. The first link is to an article that literally cites the second "left leaning" article for its thesis. Do you not read these articles? Where do you find these obscure sites?

Name me literally one time in its history that Wikileaks and Julian Assange has posted an incorrect piece of info or when they have been wrong. You literally can't. Terribly try.

Yes I read them both. Information Liberation has been linked on this site a number of times. It’s no more obscure than Slate, BuzzFeed, or TheReason. As for WSWS it was recently referenced by a liberal poster on the teacher strike thread I believe.

I merely listed the second link, because I knew the mention on Julian Assange would get your panties in a bunch, so I provided the other link.

Edit: It wasn’t in the teacher strike thread. It was just last week I saw it used to link a story somewhere. Perhaps it was on another site. This was the article I am talking about.

Once again you missed the point Comrade. Let me spell it out for you:

1. Eery posted a link to an article that states "Julian Assange references a WSWS report that says 'X'".

2. Eery posted the very WSWS article that Julian Assange references and claims it is more "left leaning." He posted it as if it were independent support for the article from a more liberal publication. In other words, he posted an article as support for the same article.

And this just proves he didn’t want to address the bunched panties.

What the heck kind of argument is 88 going for anyways? So what if I posted a link to the article embedded in the think. I’m used to a lot of you not following embedded links in articles anyway. I’ve done the very same thing on here a bunch of times, and have never been called on it before. That shows me that a lot of people never research past seeing the source and just scoffing about gay frogs, or some other drivel.

I assumed that most of you would see the name Julian Assange, and just ignore the link anyway, so I posted the other link embedded in the article. What’s wrong with that? Besides y’all don’t seem to mind that the FBI used an article based on the Trump Dossier to back up the legitimacy of the dossier itself in the FISA Warrant application . Kind of hypocritical don’t you think?

You want other links? Take your pick.

I don’t understand the controversy. We have elections. If being ex-CIA is a bad thing then their opponent should make it a campaign issue. How do we know all of these folks are registering Democrat? Certainly there must be a list of who these candidates are?

Obviously you didn’t read the WSWS article. 🙄

The point was not that someone with that background is running. It’s the fact that such a large number is doing so. Coincidence perhaps?

Besides, who on this site is freaking out? There is a difference between pointing something out, and panicking. Given the political landscape we find ourselves in, it is reasonable that information as such should at least be noted and shared.

Maybe it is noteworthy but those links are designed to get a reaction without giving any context. Who are these candidates? What does unprecedented numbers even mean? Is the past largest number 20 and this year it’s 21? Technically unprecedented....hardly newsworthy.

The candidates are listed in the WSWS article. It is three pages long, and has page tabs you have to click on to get to the next page.

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2018/03/07/dems-m07.html

I disagree with the idea that it is not newsworthy.

Why noteworthy? The DNC and others recruit candidates. If they’ve identified military intelligence background as something that resonates with voters...particularly red state voters...then of course that is what they’ll do.

I have two family members that work for the FBI. My wife has more than that. None are liberal. Of course that is only my personal experience but the right is crazy with this: “the CIA and FBI are overrun with a liberal deep state! Now they’re running for office!” stuff.

Trump won because Hillary was a horrible candidate. If these CIA folks win then it isn’t a conspiracy...they just had inferior opponents.
