What the heck kind of argument is 88 going for anyways? So what if I posted a link to the article embedded in the think. I’m used to a lot of you not following embedded links in articles anyway. I’ve done the very same thing on here a bunch of times, and have never been called on it before. That shows me that a lot of people never research past seeing the source and just scoffing about gay frogs, or some other drivel.

I assumed that most of you would see the name Julian Assange, and just ignore the link anyway, so I posted the other link embedded in the article. What’s wrong with that? Besides y’all don’t seem to mind that the FBI used an article based on the Trump Dossier to back up the legitimacy of the dossier itself in the FISA Warrant application . Kind of hypocritical don’t you think?

You want other links? Take your pick.

And for those who prefer a more left leaning publication

The CIA Democrats

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2018/03/07/dems-m07.html

This is hilarious. The first link is to an article that literally cites the second "left leaning" article for its thesis. Do you not read these articles? Where do you find these obscure sites?

Yes I read them both. Information Liberation has been linked on this site a number of times. It’s no more obscure than Slate, BuzzFeed, or TheReason. As for WSWS it was recently referenced by a liberal poster on the teacher strike thread I believe.

I merely listed the second link, because I knew the mention on Julian Assange would get your panties in a bunch, so I provided the other link.

Edit: It wasn’t in the teacher strike thread. It was just last week I saw it used to link a story somewhere. Perhaps it was on another site. This was the article I am talking about.
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2018/02/26/west-f26.html

The issue I raised wasn't related to the obscurity of the websites. That was just an aside. The issue was that you posted a link to one article that is based entirely on another article, then posted a link to the second article and characterized it as a more liberal minded source in order to give it more credibility. I really don't understand how this is difficult for you to understand. It isn't worth the big discussion. It is just using mirrors to try to bolster your point.

Ok whatever. Nothing is too difficult to understand here. Mirrors? Perhaps you are making something out of this that it is not.

Do you really think I was up to something in posting the links that I did? That is funny indeed. Keep-em coming 88. I can always use a good laugh.

You literally said, Where do you find these obscure websites.” I’m not making that up.

I think his point is that links are like 80's hair bands. There are a lot of them, and most of them are ****.

I’m gonna stick with the government agencies that have repeatedly said that they stand by the results of their investigations. Agree to disagree I guess.

Yes I agree. Even though now we are finding out that the Obama administration provided the catalyst for the FBI to spy on political opponents, and when confronted with the claims of their actions, they lied about. In light of such things, turning a blind eye would be the honorable thing to do.🙄

I have my own opinion of what 88 was actually up to, but I’ll keep that to myself this go round.

Investigate! Let the evidence lead wherever it goes. I fully support our intelligence agencies and their expertise. I promise to not complain about how long It takes.

However, any congressional investigation needs to be paid for by a tax on conservative tears.

I guess my comment about the obscure websites you post muddled my other message. The comment wasn't related to my other point, which was that you linked to an article that is based on a report, then linked to the report and said it was from a more liberal source and supported the article. You were trying to boost the credibility of the report by making it appear that it had support from both conservative and liberal sources. The comment about the quality of the websites was unrelated. I see these obscure websites and wonder how much free time do you folks have, and how hard do you need to dig before finding something that supports your views?

Your point is moot. You have been weighed and found wanting.

People who nitpick are bothered by minor problems — or else they're just looking for something to criticize. I would have more respect for you if you just admitted that either (a) you didn't read the links you posted very carefully, (b) you didn't comprehend them, or (c) you were caught trying to make **** up. I am not sure which it is, but it is one of the three.

Lots of turnover lately. Now there is talk of John Kelly leaving.

Wonder how much of it is burnout vs. policy disagreements with the President?

Says who? You? Hahaha. What makes you King BS around here? I said that I read them and why I linked to both the articles. I was not lying on either accounts. You can either keep pretending that you are some kind of message board super slooth, or you can practice a higher level of self awareness and stop being so critical of insignificant things in order to have a basis to engage in some sort of offhanded political discourse, that does little more than obscure what the original topic was about.

From what I’ve heard and read, Trump’s big mistake in picking a lot of his people was in trying to build bridges in the Republican Party with the old gaurd so to speak. (Neocons) people like Reince Priebus advised Trump on people to choose that were never going to go along with Trump’s agenda. I’d expect the reorganization to continue till people are in place that will get with the program.
