Anyone else feel that???

Just felt the earthquake in Port Reading, NJ...my desk, monitor and blinds started swaying....I work in a refinery, so my first thought was something blew up, but it lasted for 30 seconds or so...then I knew what it was. Craziness!

Felt it in Canonsburg Pa on the second floor of an office building. Not used to that. I haven't felt an earthquake since my time in China.

It was 5.9 per USGS and happened .6 of a mile down. A very shallow earthquake.

Shook the 3rd floor of my high school in Bethesda Maryland very impressively. They evacuated us for about 20 minutes. I'm told some wall tiles fell off the building in the front.

Felt it in my high school in Martinsburg, WV too. I thought the kids were tearing my library apart upstairs! I ran up and said "What is going on up here?!?" Then they asked if I felt it too. Wild stuff man.

Mineral, VA is only 27 miles or so from Charlottesville, VA.

I know we've got other Couchers in and around C'Ville. I'm happy to say there's no damage or reports of injury. I'd still like to know how other Charlottesvillians are doing.

That's just crazy. Stew never caused any excitement east of the Fiesta Bowl.
